Church House, and the entrance to the Wykeham Hall, in early 1964.1

The sign by the entrance advertises 'The Big 3' plus 'The Roofraisers' ('Dynamic! Stupendous!'), appearing at the Wykeham Hall on Saturday 11th January (Admission 4'6), as well as 'Top Groups' every Saturday (3'6) and 'Top Pops' every Tuesday (2'-).

Leaning in front of it is another sign asking ' What do women's organisations do in Romford?' You could find out by going to the hall on Wednesday 4th March, for an event to be officially opened by the Mayoress (Mrs. A. Hawkesworth).
