Many thanks for your interest in Romford Now & Then. Please be aware that the site is my personal, leisure time project, and that as such I have only a limited amount of time to spend updating it and responding to emails.

I always appreciate feedback any about the site, and am especially pleased to receive scanned photographs and other material relating to Romford’s history and heritage.

Sadly I am no longer able to find the time to respond to individual questions, much as I wish that I could. There are, however, other avenues of enquiry open to you:

• If you have a question about Romford’s history and heritage, or have memories or other information to share, then please visit the Romford History group that I run in conjunction with this site. The message archive is open to all for browsing and searching, whilst as a member you can make your own contributions to our discussions.
• If you are seeking information about your Romford ancestry then feel free to send me a concise enquiry for inclusion in the Family Histories section of the website. If you wish to respond to someone else’s enquiry then please return and click their name to email them directly.
• If you are looking for photos or other images of Romford then please see this FAQ.
• If you are seeking up-to-date information about the local area, including shops and business, pubs and clubs, groups, services, and organizations then please see the Links section.
