A float in Market Place in the Carnival parade, 21st August 1926.1

The float is passing Harry's Cycle Stores, at the south-eastern end of the market.

It would appear to have a nautical theme - a couple of masts with sails furled, and waves rolling along the side - unless, that is, you have a better suggestions!
