Interested in hiring a person to trace Sir Thomas COOKE of 1400's, builder of Romford's Gidea (aka Giddy) Hall which was destroyed in 1860, parents who were Robert and Katherine COOKE of Lavenham, Suffolk, England and prior generations. Robert born 1392 and Katherine born in 1396. Note Thomas & Elizabeth's childrens' names were William, Thomas, Joan, John, Phillip. So likely that Robert's siblings or parents were also named William, Thomas, etc. I am 20 generations later and named Ralph Cook Shattuck. Seeking my roots and will be visiting Romford and Lavenham in August 2000.
