From Irene Robinson:
My great grandfather, Leonard Charles BYSOUTH settled in Romford in the late 19th century. He was married to Elizabeth (nee WOODHAM). Their son, my grandfather (Alfred Leonard Bysouth), was born in Squirrels Heath and moved to Jutsums Lane, Romford in about 1927 and lived there until his death in 1974. Both Leonard and Alfred worked for Essex Waterworks all their lives. Alfred married Daisy GILLIGAN in 1923 and they had 3 children: Doris, Joan and Ronald. All three went to London Road School, Romford. After they left school, Doris and Joan both worked for Plessey's, Ilford.
If anyone has any connection with the Bysouths I would be pleased to hear from them.
