Romford Now & Then Glimpses of the Past in the Present

From Marion Langham, London:

I am interested in the LANGHAM family.  Lewis LANGHAM was a Corn Merchant in Market Place, Romford in the mid 1800s.  He was born sometime around 1778 (I don't yet know where) and his wife's name was Elizabeth.  They had at least two sons, Lewis born 1818-19 and William, a carpenter at the Royal Arsenal, Woolwich.  William was born around 1829 and married Annie Elizabeth BORROWDALE, the daughter of a Solicitor's clerk in Romford, at St.Mary's Church, Woolwich in 1856.  They had five children.  I know that Lewis died in 1847 in Romford.  William LANGHAM was my late husband's great grandfather but we know so little about him and his parents and siblings.  Any information would be very gratefully received.
