Romford Now & Then Glimpses of the Past in the Present

From Jean Masters:

I am looking for the first wife of my grandfather, Horace HEARN, who lived in Romford at the beginning of the 20th century.

His first wife was Agnes CROSS of Kingston, Surrey.  They married on 6th April 1896.  Their first born was a son, William, born on 25th December 1899, followed by a daughter, Frances, born on 24th September 1901.  William died on 6th August 1915, in Turkey (as a soldier).1

My grandfather married my grandmother,  Mary A. E. TURNER, on 6th July 1929, but I cannot find a death of Agnes HEARN (nee CROSS).  My mother was born 7th June 1900 to Mary TURNER at Waterloo Road, Romford, where both she and my grandfather lived until his death in 1949.

I would appreciate any information connected with this.  Thank you.

1 William Hearn is commemorated on the Romford War Memorial.  He is also recorded in the Commonweath War Graves Commission Debt of Honour Register.
