  • Fannie Winmill Born 1847 in Romford, Essex
  • Fannie attended St. Andrews School 1852 - 1860
  • Fannie attended school at Sellindge, Kent 1860 - 65
  • She was a pupil teacher at Sellindge
  • Fannie went to Lincoln College for teacher training 1866 - 67
  • She was certificated Xmas 1867
  • Went to Rauceby School near Sleaford, Lincolnshire
  • Went to Poplar (Parish on the Thames between Limehouse Reach and Blackwall Reach)
  • Fannie married Mark ROBERTS at St Brides Fleet Street, London in 1871.  Mark's occupation was Servant.  He was a valet for Maharajah Duleep Singh.  His father was Mark Roberts occupation carpenter Mother Sarah Childs
  • Fannie returned home to Romford to have her baby
  • Elizabeth Roberts born 27 November 1871
  • Fannie started teaching at Warboys Fen School, Huntingdon 1872
  • She won her Parchment 1874 and left Warboys 1876
  • Fannie started teaching West Wratting 1876 - 84.  West Wratting school was a village school built in 1860.
  • Ethel Fannie Roberts born 4 January 1880
  • Kathleen Annie Roberts born 3 December 1882
  • Fannie left West Wratting 1884 when the house was flooded in heavy rains
  • Fannie started teaching Enmeth, Norfolk 1884 - 1885
  • Fannie and the children left England for New Zealand 1885

  • Fannie enrolled Ethel and Kathleen Waihao Waimate school 1886 - 1889
  • Fannie enrolled girls in Normanby Hawera School 1889.  Fannie assistant teacher 1891, 1892, 1893
  • Fannie married Edward Charles Meredith 1891 Hawera
  • Fannie's family moved to Koru, New Plymouth and leased from the Maoris the Monastary Property in 1895.  Fannie was teaching at Koru School 1894, 95, 96, 14-29 pupil class.
  • Fannie died 5 Feb 1927.  Buried Te Henui Cemetery New Plymouth
