Romford Now & Then   Glimpses of the Past in the Present

 

Romford & District Historical Society

The Romford and District Historical Society was founded in 1956, and since 1968 has produced an annual publication, the Romford Record. Meetings are held once a month (excluding July and August) on a Monday evening, and visitors are very welcome (admittance £1.50). Here is the 2008 programme:

The meetings will be held in Trinity Methodist church hall, Angel Way (see map), starting at 8.15 p.m. (with the hall open from around 7.30 p.m.).
