This panorama was taken from the middle of the Golden Lion crossroads in August 2000. 

You start by looking at the Golden Lion itself, on the corner of High Street (to the left) and North Street (to the right).¹ 

Turning to your right you are looking up North Street, then into Market Place, then down South Street, and finally along High Street, before returning to where you started.
