This tube sculpture at the eastern end of Market Place is a circle of letters spelling out the word Romford (March 1999).

There is a similar sculpture at the western end of Market Place, spelling out the word Market.

The three lighting columns behind the sculpture are inscribed with the town names, Hornchurch, Romford, and Upminster.
