This photo was taken in Park Drive in 1952.  It was kindly provided by Jo Statham (nee. McCormick), who writes:

"This photo is really just a family group shot, although you can see the bus garage under construction in the background.  The photo was taken in 1952 when my mother and I were visiting from Canada.  The group is: my mother, myself aged 11 carrying Popsy, my grandmother's Pomeranian, and my grandmother.  My grandparents lived at 9, Park Drive."

Before emigrating to Canada in 1951, Jo McCormick was a pupil at St. Mary's High school.
