The building on the left, opposite Albert Road, is the original Primitive Methodist church, built in 1875.

On the other side of Victoria Road stands a sign for The Victoria pub (Charringtons, Burton Ales). Beyond this, on the opposite corner of Albert Road (No. 124 Victoria Road) is Hall's provisions store.
