Gidea Park College Preparatory School for children aged 2½-11 years (March 2000).

Situated on the western side of Balgores Lane, close to it's junction with Main Road, the building was once known as Balgores House.

In the background, to the right of the college buildings, you can see the premises of the Lloyds TSB bank.  A plaque commemorates the landscape gardener Humphrey Repton, who lived in a cottage on the site.

Step back in time to see the same view in about 1917.
