This photograph was kindly provided by David Head, whose Aunt Eva is the tall girl standing second from the right.  He writes:

"My grandfather, James HEAD, was born in Shoeburyness.  He emigrated to Canada in 1910, and I believe that he sent the rest of the family, or at least his youngest daughter Eva, to live in Romford while he got settled.  Eva was born in Shoeburyness on January 8th, 1898, and went to live with her mother's sister, Elizabeth Ann CORDER, at 270 London Road."

David Head also kindly provided a certificate that Eva received for cooking in 1912.

You can find out more about James HEAD, his daughter Eva, and the rest of their family on the Head Family Genealogy website.
