"The Huts" in Western Road, being used as classrooms for the infants of St. Edward's C of E school, photographed in 1959.

The photograph was kindly provided by Derek Gooding, who is the young lad entering the huts on his first day of school, and was taken by his Dad.

The huts were situated to the west of Mercury Gardens, next to the YMCA, from whom they were rented by the school.¹
