Bourne's Yard was on the south side of Market Place, and was entered via an archway through Stone's.1,2

This wonderful photograph was kindly provided by Peter Green, whose grandfather, Eustace Green, is the man holding the horse.  He was a blacksmith who later worked for many years for a firm called Albon & Sons at Becontree Heath, before retiring in the early 1950s.

The sign on the front of the house states that at the time of this photograph, the business of C H Hunt had been established for 80 years.
